Was just listening to your challenges locating a weather resistant iPhone case for the bike. Lifeproof makes a great case for the iPhone that you can swim with. It’s not much larger than a Apple bumper case. I’ve mounted mine to my bike using the belt holster screwed to a bracket on the dash of my RT. I also cut a slot into the holsterto allow me to access the charging slot. It’s not cheap, but very rugged.
